RSM's

What rear shock mounts should I go with? I'm throwing on the coilovers but I want to make sure the rear shock towers don't get torn apart since it will be pretty stiff. OEM with the z3/4 reinforcing plates? or would a monoball setup be worth it?

I went with Meyle HD shock mounts and the reinforcement plates, unless you plan to track your car alot, I don't think the solid mounts are needed. Plus solid mounts usually produce increased road noises.

The HDs are cheap and easy to replace, so I don't mind if they don't last a lifetime.

What coilovers did you go with?

Where would one go about getting thise shock mounts? And how much would they cost? I just picked up a set of coilovers as well and was thinking it might be a good idea to replace the mounts and other stuff on my suspension that is 13 years old.

Anywhere I can get GC RSM's locally? After some searching/reading I think they would be the best choice.

The GC's look pretty beefy and you can remove the rear shock a lot easier since the bolts are upside down.

Are the front and rear mounts the same? Anyone know of a local place to get these rather than wait for shipping?

Front mounts are totally different and I'd like to know if there is a local supplier as well.

Would replacing both the front and the rear mounts be a good idea, or are the rears the ones that need the most attention?

The rears are considered a maintenance item and I don't think the fronts need to be replaced.
