Get me some solid stock DME tuning and then I'll probably agree. Until then, no. The m/s/50/52 is a better FI platform.

How can you say that when the guy who built your s/c'ed m3 now drives a 617rwhp turbo s54 powered car?

That's about right as I expect a used BMW to drop in value by roughly 50% every three years and that car is 8 or 9 years old now.

Lol, where did the FI discussion come from? It's not everyone's cup of tea you know.

NAed power FTW!

There's no way you can possibly compare a S50-US to an S54. The S50 is just a regular BMW motor. The S54 is a masterpiece!

Guys, its not a ridiculous claim. All I'm saying is I prefer the tried and tested stock dme tuning for a turbo obd1 s50.

FYI my car is quite different from Fabio/Milan's old car. I think it shares only the blower itself, aftercooler, exhaust, and sways. Oh and wheels.

To each their own man! I guess normally in a x vs y engine discussion the main argument becomes which makes more power and thus usually its in FI form.
