Why don't we have a sightings thread?

I was thinking about this earlier today. There is a sighting category on this forum, but it is very Toronto area specific. Shouldn't we have something similar? I mean how many times do you see something you want to post while just driving around, but don't because there is not really an outlet for Ottawa based sighting discussions.

Saw the cleanest e30 coupe, black on the 50. Don't know who's it was but I was trying to catch up to it to give the guy a thumbs up lol. I think it was on Tuesday during the morning rush.

I saw a really nice 2002 on the 417 at about 4:30am a couple of weeks ago. Driving pretty slow, but it looked really good!

carjoe, I think I might have spotted that same car a few times in a parking lot behind CHEO. Did you spot it somewhere near there?

Probably the same car then. I don't love the E9x 3-series, but that one is gorgeous. Tan interior too (seats & door panels anyway).

I was at bayshore last week, parked beside a minty fresh looking e30 iX. When I came out, an older guy was getting into it.. I *RAN* to talk to him before he left lol. He was an older guy, about 55-60. He owed it since 1990, it was one year old when he bought it. It had 107,000km (I think) now. He lived in BC the whole time, and just moved back this month. The car was damn near perfect, except the yellow roundels on the 15" (ix?!) basketweaves. Zero rust, zero dings, perfect interior. Was dirty tho.

He has a late model E39 540i too. I encouraged him to join the local club. Ironically, he was eating an icecream cone in it the whole time we talked.
