Dysantic - i had the same problem. the guides are garbage and mine was eating the weather stripping a lot! patience is all I can say.. make sure not all the bolts are tightened before you have the window tracking up and down. i had this happening to the point of just smashing the window. be patient, and get a buddy over to help guide the window.. like i stated before, Youtube has some good vids on these issues
