Funny non-BMW story that happend to me!

I was driving my lowered '91 Buick Roadmaster Estate Wagon on the highway (on the 406) about 2 years ago following an old beat up pick up truck. In the bed were three mattresses standing up. I notice that they were not really that secure due to the wind flaping them around so I backed off. As soon as I backed off the wind some how sucked one of the mattresses out of the bed of the truck and shot it straight up into the air and striaght toward me! I tried to swerve but realized that I was on the highway. Well the damn thing bounced off my roof just behind the windshield and infront of the moonroof! I sped up screaming out my window at the dude in the truck but he kept on going (I wish I had a pen and paper to write down the plate...gggggrrrr). I eventually pulled over on the side of the highway and inspected the roof of the car. NOT A SCRATCH!!! I couldn't believe it! I was expecting a huge dent & scratch. Oh well!?!? I guess I was really lucky that day.

L8R,
Dave

Dave,

At least did you get to keep the mattress?

LOL. Wonder what the chum fm traffic reports would have said. "Look out for a large pink mattress on the 406"?

U funny! I can laugh at it now but man I was pissed! I couldn't even imagine what could have happened if that mattress went through my windshield! Well I hope I don't "run" into any more of those! LOL!
