So after 2 years of driving the car on OEM wheels, suspension and brakes, I finally broke down and did some serious mods to the car.
Here is how the car looked in winter mode before the mods:
First, I went and saw Rocco at RMP a few weeks ago to put on the brakes and suspension:
And then today, I had a bit of time at lunch so I went home and did this...

Suspension is Ground Control Steet Coilover Kit. The brakes are Brembo four piston 14in front and 13.6in rear. The wheels are Volk LE37T 19 x 8.5 ET35f and 19 x 10.5 ET22r with Toyo T1S 245 35R19f and Toyo T1R 275 30R19r. In winter mode, I had to put a 12mm spacer at the front to clear the enormous F40 caliper. I put a 5mm spacer in the rear to balance things out. I really liked how that turned out. With the Volks, no spacers were needed due to the aggressive offset and overall BBK friendliness of the wheels.
I still have to replace the front splitters (one of them came out second best in an encounter with a concrete parking barrier at the local grocery store) and clean up the ACS rear diffuser and put it back on. Until then, better shoot with better venue will have to wait.
Enjoy!
