you guys think you have inconvenient long drives??? Pffft yourself. To Downsview, I have a one and a half hour drive, to MDS I'm looking more like 1:45. I'm not complaining, just mentioning, any event worth having is worth driving to!!! And this is definitely worth it. I will start a poll tomorrow on the Trillium site, so please vote as to what your tolerance levels are? Thanks. The event can only be as successful as the attendance it receives, hence I really want all of you to come out on a regular basis! I'll do everything within my control, to make it the best damn autocross events................Period.

How about square one? I've seen other clubs run autoxes there and weekend mornings you've got tons of space.

Self induced problem, not feeling any pain for you, I still have a oil stain on the street in front of my house from your E30 which you shaved through your oil pan you were so low.

Thought you said the vw had coilovers? adjust them up a bit!!!!

Seriously though guys we need to work together to find a new location, hell I was even talking to the city of whitby about getting a lot. Its all of our's club and events, and more people have to pitch in, and help find a new venue!!!

I just took a look on google, Which lot do they use there? I,ve attacted a pic of the current one to get an idea of minimum size we need, I would like to keep the top of second gear speeds up personally

also those were some run lay outs I was messing around with, trying to make the current location more usuable, which I think if we all statred brain storming on how to make it better where it is (which John made changes last year and made it better) Then maybe we can make the old location fresh again.

Instead of pointing out all the bad things, how do we adjust things to show all the good things!

My coils all the way still puts me lower then anyone else

Either way I'm going, it would just be nice to have a smooth piece of pavement.

I'd be in for a pretty far drive to get to where ever its going to be, the current location is pretty far for me, but like john said, its worth driving too.

They had the whole north-west lot to themselves (the area by Famous Players/Transit). You could probably set up a 3rd gear course through there.

I was on the Trillium Chapter site and noticed in July there will be a "Super Autocross" somewhere in London, Ontario.

What's a super autocross? Sounds like an autocross with jumps and crazy obstacles shooting fireworks eveywhere

It's what an auto cross is called when you have 3 runways in a triangle shape and each one is long enough to land a hurc and 200 meters wide. Speeds will be hitting 200km and hour. It's going to be a very very wicked event

Unfortunately no, this was a long time ago. They possibly still go there but I haven't been to square one in years myself. If they agreed to it before I don't see why they wouldn't again - those lots are deserted bright and early on a weekend.

While yopur at it john check out the hershey center. They normally run motorcycle events and cut most of the parking lot. Its all smooth pavement being that the center was built brand new what? 8 years ago or something?
