FS: Tokico E30 performance shocks(new)
Selling both front and both rear brand new Tokico heavy duty performance shocks for e30. Asking $150 for all when usually they cost $61-$80US each new plus shipping. Bought for my IX but then realized they were wrong. In mint shape never used, just dusty from my garage.

no offense, I dont mean to jack your thread, I just dont want a buyer to get the wrong impression. Tokico blues are not high performance shocks, or performance anything for that matter. They are an OE replacement. Tokico Illuminas are the adjustable performance line and they are white in color.

good price, not complaining about the price. Just want to make sure the OP knows what he's selling.

Now I gotta think if I'm actually going to use them. My IS suspension is still quite good. wonder if these will go with Eicbach sport springs?

Yep, not the performance of billies, but still work quite well. I have them on my car and the front doesn't get quite enough dampening with 300lb front spring, but the rear was great.

Lowered does not necessarily mean performance. These struts are not valved for stiffer springs, they are valved for OE spring rates. Its that simple, sure it may work with your lowered springs whether they are stiffer than stock or not. However how well do they work with them and how long they last is another question. If your spring rates are stiffer than stock, the valving on these shocks do not match your spring rates, therefore they do not work properly, and your struts will blow quite prematurely.
I find a lot of people thinking tokico HP (blues) are performance struts, they are OE replacement, and in this case (BMW) of lower quality than OEM.
