Windows "lost programming"
On my 05 X3, the whole module on the drivers door that controls windows, rear window lock out and power mirrows stopped working. All the passenger windows work from their switches, just nothing from the switches in the drivers door handle. I checked fuses and one was blown, I went to put in a new one. As soon as I touched the contacts the new fuse blew...so into the dealer it went.
Apparently there are no electrical problems...the module just "lost programming" ??? Which means it needs to be reprogrammed. Does that make sense??
