Conversion 6spd to Automatic
Hey Rocco,
How much will it cost to convert a 6spd 2005 BMW 330i ZHP to automactic/steptronic?
Is this possible and what price am I looking at?
Thanks

It's a bad idea in my eyes, but if you're serious at least find someone that has an auto and wants the 6spd. Split the cost with them and that way you both end up getting what you want.
... there's a good chance you will regret your decision.

Not only that, but would it be big fuzz when you resell it... They will see it was a stick tranny from factory, but out of sudden automatic.... I mean sure if it was some E36/E30, BUT late model E46 M pack can be worth some coin these days. If it is 2006 , that is just 4 year old..... That is an issue that I see.

I like my auto. It allows me to illegally use my blackberry on the road - actually, drinking coffee!

Hey I can use my phone and drink coffee just as well as you, just between shifts.
Or I shift with the phone in my hand, with my left hand, or let go of the wheel to hold the phone in my left hand and shift. Yea it's complicated and awkward, but you gotta do what you gotta do.

Just hold the phone with a shoulder and you are good to go. Both hands on the wheel.
