I tried to set up one of our satellite offices with the bell fibre product 2 years ago. At the time they were advertising 20Mbps down and 2 Mbps up. I can't comment on the service. They tried to install it, decided it wouldn't work, didn't tell me, tried to undo their shoddy work and F'ed everything up for 3 months at that office.

The product may be fast but I have nothing kind to say about Bell, they have royally screwed up every service we had with them (note the past tense). 2 ISDN lines, 4 broadband connections, and 30+ business phone lines.

Reliability was moderate, customer service was inexplicably horrible. This was on the business side so hopefully you'll have a better experience on the personal side.

Personally, you couldn't pay me to use their products.

But they have a lower cap, 75gb vs. 125gb.

Too bad it isn't available in my area.
That's an awesome upload... but the cap blows hard... I mean, seriously what are you supposed to go with 75GB a month with that kind of throughput! It's laughable that they think this is ok. IMO Rogers caps are also too low, but an extra 50GB goes a long way.

What are the overages like on Bell? Rogers is now going to be $50 (max.) instead of the previously enjoyed $25. Crooks.

From their website their cap is at $30, which might workout better now that rogers max is $50.

I saw someone mention, you can get 40gb added to you monthly cap for $5. But i donno how true this is.

hmmm... that just might make it worth while then! Only other thing is, Bell will probably want to lock you in for 3 years or something stupid.

Yup. $5 for an extra 40gb. And you can keep adding it on. $10 for 80GB, $15 for 120GB and so on.

oh yea?? hmmmmmmmmmmm
Well just checked.. not available for where I live.. plus it's only $57 for the first year... it goes up $10 after that... so u'r almost @ the same price as rogers, but you're still limited with the 75GB cap. Again Bell manages to make it look good on paper, but once you add everything up you're getting it up the ass.

500 is awful .. for online gaming

if your playing COD2 and you end up being the host .. everyone is going to lag because you have to feed them information at 500Kbps.

I just ordered fibe 25 with additional 80 gig of download, so for 79 bux i will get 25 mbts download 7 mbts upload and 155gig of monthly download. I think thats not bad I was paying around 69 somtimes more if i went over the limit with rogers.

Bell Customer service sucks ass... Called them last week twice, first time for information and second time to order the fibe 25, both time they confirmed it is abailable at my condo. in couple days tech calls me and says they can only provide fibe 16. WTF. So after arguing with bell forever and still waiting for the superviser to acctually call me, i have no other option but to go with fibe 16 now... FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU. /Rant
