rare eta? Get a 318is.

What are you looking for in a car anyways? Just want a DD or want a fun car?

dannyb...

well yeah... 'rare eta' i dont know how things are back east but 2dr eta's are kinda rare out here. as for what i want... i dunno. i want a DD but honestly i dont drive that much cause parking & petrol costs so much right now and transit is more convenient.

i guess i just have e30 disease. so thats why im looking at a 318is or another 325es. these two purely b/c of the fuel economy factor plus i dont think i could handle the 325is (the m30 was quite a jump from my se20r). besides... everybody cool already has one of those and i kinda like the big bumpers and the hanging foggies anyways.

what ticks me off is that with the payout icbc is offering... ill still be short 50% of what a decent one goes for right now.

325es is pretty rare actually. They have the 2.93LSD diff. Or is it a 2.92?

hi guys... its been 7yrs already. a trudeau is in charge again and the usa just elected the man to end the world. are any of u still around? i meant to come back and update u guys on what i did, but i got lazy and neglected u kids like an e30 deadbeat.‎

so here goes:
i took the advice to hardball icbc and to counter with examples of similar e30's for sale. i didnt seek an appraiser nor did i take it to a dealer for a valuation quote. im glad i didnt, b/c in the end, all i was able to muscle was an extra 200 to become $1600. in my haste, i forgot to listen to u and submit maintenance records for the last year... me is stupid. anyways, somehow their offer became a take it or leave it option. i was going to take out the battery, the stock stereo and speakers to get even, but my adjustor was a dink and said no, the car has to be surrendered as it was last driven, 'sigh' the house wins again.‎

the $1600 wasnt going to be upped. it was dead money. since i was a renter and i planned on moving, i didnt have the garage to part it out myself. i didnt have a choice. i took the money.

i was so disgusted at myself. it took me ages to find an e30 and it took me even longer to bring it back to near stock. i had boxes of spare parts and other bits like a set of mint basketweaves on new tread...

anyways, a quick summer replacement kept getting delayed until i finally made a move in 2014. care to guess what i finally did? (i know, that was 3yrs ago)
