Help w/ Day Time Running Lights...
Does any one know how to get the DRL's to not turn on ? with out making that annoying display on the dash board for the light being disconnected? i clld bmw sauga and they said they cant mess with the programming and bimmersport wants 80$ for it so id rather find a cheaper way since i read its only a 5 min job and dealerships in US are charging 35-40 $.. any help?

A GT1 is a computer, that costs I believe in the thousands. You're better off taking the car to Bimmersport.

that seems to be the going price. Had some programming done recently on my keys and I was charged $100 even though it took them 5 minutes to perform (10 if you include the time the guys spent checking other options).......
If you find someine cheaper let us all know..

So that my angel eyes look like the photos. thats my car in the photos but what i did was just disconnect the DRL's/highbeam bulbs and i HATE the notification on my gauge. so i guess its bimmersport.. no other economical solution for this simple task...

Have you tried RMP? Rocco should be able to give you a good deal.

1999 & 2000 model years can't be programmed off. Hope that's not the case.

I'd check the MTO requirements for DRLs. They are quite specific in regards to visible distances in both clear and bad weather. Your Angel eyes will need to meet those requirements in order to not get pulled over..... I've installed Ultra-bright 7000K CCFL angel eyes, but kept my DRLs on to avoid issues with cops.... Seen afew with DRLs off; not sure if they're being hasstled by cops.

That is EXACTLY the case, but bimmersport did infact program it to be turned off and they still work perfectly when high beams are needed. so i dont know where you got this info from?? about the MTO requierments i have 7000k LED's even brighter than ccfl, never been questioned by police.
