Guys, to be honest I'm not really into smoked or blacked out lights but the lightly smoked tails that DDM sells that are made by Eagles Eyes look pretty good in the picture at least.
Here's the thing though, they don't have a picture of it installed and when I google them I keep getting pictures of those outrageously dark ones or those ricy eBay ones or regular Depos mostly. Does anyone from here actually purchased the Eagles Eyes smoked ones from DDM and has a picture of it installed on your car so I can have an idea of how it would look like in mine?
I had them on my E36 sedan. By far, my favourite tails on the E36. They are not as dark as you think; more of a grey smoke effect. Ofcourse, many factors such as exterior lighting, sunset/time of day when the picture was taken will affect how dark the smoked portion appears in pictures. Go for it, you'll like them!
