Nikon D90 and DX Lenses

I'm back in the market for a DSLR. I'm a fan of Nikon having fiddled with many. I have always like the D60, but since it is being replaced by the D5000, and I don't like the D3000 or 5000, I'm probably going to pick up a D90.

The D90 seems to come mostly with Nikon's DX lenses, which only cover the small DX lens from what I understand. My question is: The D90 is a DX DSLR, so is the D90 compatible with non DX lenses, and will they cause any issues being used with the D90? Aslo, with a DX lens, am I going to get the full frame or am I going to blacked out corners?
