I believe it was around a 3500$ option. Pretty standard price for a sport package upgrade on a 3 series. Most later cars (like my '98) have sport package because BMW was doing a promo for the 328's with sport package.

Are there any visual differences with the sport package? It would be cool if I found out mine had it.

As mentioned above, Sport Package with ASC+T was $3,340 for 328is Coupe, which included 12Way Manual Sports Seats, 16'' Double Spoke Alloy Wheels, M-Technic Sports Suspension(except Cabriolet), M Leather Steering Wheel, ASC+T. and the Sport Package without ASC+T was $2,530 which included all above in addition to a Limited Slip Differential.

if you have ASC then you don't have a LSD. 96+ non-m e36's with LSD are very rare.

My late '94 325i was probably one of the first to come with sport package. It didn't come with the M wheel, but did come with the stiffer suspension, sport seats, and ASC+T (No LSD but must have been one of the few 325s with traction control)
