yeah, but the phone selection as of now really sucks, they have 4 phones, and the only good one is the new BB 9700 Bold.

I actually work for WIND mobile out in Oakville. The "low down" as the OP asked for is if you're in the "HOME" zone which you can access and zoom in right down to your very street then depending on your plan its basically unlimited. However if you are in the "AWAY" zone it will still work but you are charged a flat rate of 25c/minute for talk and 10c/text, bear in mind long distance rates for talk range from 35c to 50c a minute depending on your provider. Also the handset indicates when you're in either home or away zone so no surprises there.

So when the home zone expands to the entire country (except for Quebec) by the end of 2010 then you will really see the rates of the big three drop and WIND become a more viable option for everyone that currently sit outside of the home zone.

**Not sure if i'm allowed to put that info up being an employee so MOD's feel free to remove if neccessary otherwise PM me for more info.

Also, the do not use the same 3G frequency as Fido/Rogers. So, if you do have a 3g phone there is a good chance it will not work.

my friend has them, as of now the "home zone" well its not that good, he has no service at home and is usually in the away zone somehow. And if your trying to call a person with wind it recognizes them as long distance.
