Check side lights?

My dash shows "Check side lights" ... and I have been checking all the lights around the car and everything is working.

Could this be a false alarm?

Where are the side lights specifically? Thanks.

it could be a fuse.

the side lights are on the side , sorta knee level between the front wheels and the front doors.

Hey Rich, I haven't had any problem with my side lights but I have had some strange happenings with the left license plate light. I had gotten the message but the lights were working but eventually the left one stoped working. The message came back again a few weeks after replacing the bulb, I found that cleaning some corossion from both contacts and lubing with some dialectric grease worked to eliminate the problem. Call it paranoia but I clean any electrical contacts and add a bit of dialectric grease that I may happen on while working on the car.... fingers crossed

Found the problem. My aftermarket (MyCarr) angel eye LED is failing due to the faulty resistor module.
