regardless of what hose it was, there's pressure build up, or the plastic turned frail over years of heat, thus bursting. Replace the part, its cheap, bleed the entire system, see if anything deviates

on your diagram... run the car with #17 out.. that is the bleed air screw!
its going to take a few days to get the air out.. took me 5 business days each morning, but at least nothing broke!

dont think tht will work the bleed hose adapter on the rad broke in half wer number 20 connects to
