This isn't for BMW, but in relation to my 2006 Acura TL.
Stock tires are 235/45-17 with offset of +45.
I have a chance to buy some winters, 1 season used with rims for $300 (Steal for Pirelli snows!)
The size of them are 215/60-16 with offset of +38.
I've checked the tire size difference, is about .75 inch larger, that shouldn't be too much of an issue, since it's really only half that more into the wheel well (car right .375 inch higher).
My question is, with the 7MM difference rub? Anyone have any idea?
P.S. I posted in my Acura forum, but they seem slow at responding...
