Fair enough....

I've discovered that there is suprisingly little selection in this size, and I don't recognize half the tires to begin with... ah well, I'm sure ultimately any of them will be better than all-seasons or bald winters... haha.

IMO any winter tires is better than the best all-season tires in snow & ice. So get the cheapest winter tires and drive accordingly....

true. especially since most ppl on ontario drive with all-seasons all year round. its good that quebec has a law but would be better if people just changed to winters themselves.

all-season tires should be renamed most-season tires.

You guys would be surprised on that too. A good portion of the newer all-seasons are better in the snow AND ice than the cheapest winter tires.

Things are changing.

Put Hankook Icebears 17" on the STi and 540. Now... where's the damn freezing snowy weather?
