Mb g500?

I need a new vehicle and I HATE trucks but for some reason can live with the driving feeling of the G-Wagon and love its timeless/eclectic styling, depreciation has hit them hard, anyone have any advice?

I'd like a diesel euro version if possible and I expect the maintenance to be high but have a great MB guy in Kitchener.

expect to pay $30K for any decent pre-2001 G Class and $30K - $50K for a good 2001 and up.

^Pretty much bang on. You can find some grey market or personal imports in the 20K range, but they are usually very stripped down versions.
IMO, the 2003+ Range Rovers are a better vehicle, they have been hit hard by depreciation as well. I'm thinking of a 2004-05 in the next year or so to replace the M5.

And there is even a G55 AMG with 15k on the clock for sale. We took that car for a spin and the sound it makes is soooooooooo crazy! If i could i would buy it in an instance!!!

That price was about 5 years ago! I looked into the G class before I got my Expedition, and it's about 10-20k less then what you posted...unless u want hard core offroad capability, go with something domestic!

Diesel would be ideal but having trouble finding any grey market euro ones for sale; there were plenty kicking around a few years back; none nowadays.
