HUGE NOTICE CHANGE OF DATE

As it seems, we've run head on into a scheduling conflict. On the 23rd of August is the Trillium Driving school at the Mosport DDT. We were originally going to run the autocross at the DDT but there just isn't enough space to do it safely. So, the replacement date is August 30th the following Sunday. I know this may inconvenience some, but it is the only alternative at this point. I hope you all understand, and I hope to see you all at the track on the 23rd, and then the autocross on the 30th.

Thanks,

John Venditti

Friendly reminder to all that the next Trillium Autocross is happening this Sunday August 30th at The usual location, please view first post in this thread for map. Registration at 8:15, first car away at 9 sharp. We'll also do a course walk through as usual, so the more punctual you are the quicker we'll get started.

Got it covered, all of the equipment is at my place. See you there with your new ride. (Don't worry, we won't hold it against you that it's not a Bimmer)

Do the autocrosses still end around 1-2pm?

I might swing by on my way back from brampton to have a look, damn it's been since '07 season for me (similar to rudy).

Depending on the number of entrants, we are done around 12-1. Hopefully we'll see you there, usually a good# of e30's show up.

Another super successful autocross completed today. I want to send a special thank-you to Rudy for bringing an EZ up tent today, and to Rich at Rebirth Motorsports for providing Drinks and timbits to the crew who came out today.
Results should be posted here, and on the Trillium site within a couple of days.
Thanks to all of you who helped out today, and we'll see you in September.

Cheers,
John

Well done! I really enjoyed my first time out to the autocross, well organized and smoothly run event. Can't wait for the next one, the car seems to like the taste of pylon's and I am not one to argue with it.

it was my first autocross in a very very long time and the first with the E30 had a blast and can't wait for the next one and i don't think you ran over that many cone's but whe one's you did hit you made it worth while the best was watching everyone looking for the one that ended up in your front strut the marshall's couldn't figure out where it went

I've been away from maX for over two months, and still no results are posted. I've had the opportunity to sit in at the past few BMW club board meetings during the summer and quite frankly Tom needs to get off his ass and hand the friggin' results back to the club if he cannot man up and post them himself. If he has a problem with the club, he should voice his opinion so we can get this resolved, as there are a lot more angry people that haven't gotten results from past events yet, not to mention how unprofessional this makes the club look as an overall.
