Who can help me with vista and network sharing?

I have a multimedia player hooked up to a tv which i use to stream and play movies, never had a problem with it, now i got new notebook and it can locate my notebook but cant see any folders or files which suppose to be shared.

Help... i can clearly see that im sharing it...

I have vista too.

UAC might be blocking it...what do you think Jimmy?
I've had many clients who'd have issues with it, and by simply turning it off for them, could get whichever program it was blocking to work.
But this is file sharing, so, hmmm, now I've confused myself too, lol.

I don't think UAC would do it.

I'm pretty sure in the file sharing he has to setup the permissions for this new device to have access.
