Exhaust questions, what to do?

e28 535. Exhaust snapped off right after the cat. What to do?

option one, repair rusty old exhaust
option two, single exhaust pipe with two cans?
option three, two pipes.... and cherry bombs?

halp!

Make it rasp ( m30) but not fart.

is it dual or single after the cat? (as in is there a y pipe?)
If so, go straight into some sort of a muffler and finish it off with some nice tips.

Cherry bombs are illegal......they use to hassle us in the 80's when we had them on our muscle cars. You will get pulled over because they are BLOODY LOUD!!!!! :-)

They only hassled you if you were driving a Camero Z28 or Mustang.

LOL. I decided on 3" with two cans. There are no y adaptors, twin pipe all the way down. I wanted to keep it that way but I cannot find reasonable twin can mufflers.

AFAIK, there's a Magnaflow muffler (round) that will fit inside the rear stock mufler area perfectly. Sia has one on his blue e28 Euro 525 with a y-apapter for two tips out back.
