e36 m3 rim question

Hello I own an e36 m3 with the stock rims. I believe they are called ltw.
I have seen many pictures with bmw motorsport engraved in them and many pics with the same rims that don't have the engraving. Why is this and why did some come with it and others not?
Thanks!

I think that the ones with Motorsport engraved are from Euro spec M3s and the ones without are US spec. Don't quote me...

There are 4 different versions of these rims:

- painted
- painted with Motorsport stamp
- polished
- polished with Motorsport stamp.

Depending on the year of production, M3 version and geographic location BMW used different version of this wheel.

All 4 versions are available in 7.5 and 8.5" widths.

Regards,

T.
