Funny Problem???

96 E36 318i. I turned off my car, got out to go to work. As i was leaving for lunch walking to my car i hear my stereo blasting. I got in to check to make sure i didnt leave it on accessory setting, and low and behold it for the rest of the day when i turned the car off and got out, the radio, clock, and odometer were all still on. Funny thing is the only thing that would shut them off is if i pulled the windshield washerfluid switch or held the break. Anyone else had this problem please let me know?
Also to top it off goin out to my car the same morning, i realize both my emblums had been stolen. Great day lol
