If anyone can get me some information regarding this subject please let me know
I recently installed a Reverse Osmosis / D/I unit in my house, the unit is one peice 6 stage filtration with 5 cartridges in total.
Install
One hose into the faucet sink which returns to the unit. A red / blue wire (one which returns as good water / one that is waste). I ensured that all the wires are in the correct places and all the filter cartridges have been tightly installed.
I have this unit connected for the sole purpose of using it with my salt water aquarium. So I do not need it to be used with other sinks and such in the house.
Now the question I have, I have noticed that if someone uses another faucet in the house or the shower I can see the return hose shake , I also hear a hissing sound coming from the unit.
I do not want to cause any damage with the piping in my house, so any information will help.
PS. I am not using any type of pressure valves or electronically controlled units, its very simple as it is only used to store water in a large container (75 gallons).
Thanks guys i really appreciate it.
