hard top convertibles

Am I imagining or are automakers going away from fabric soft tops in favour of the metal hard tops for newer vehicles??

Because hairdressers need better protection from the elements.

They've been moving away from soft tops for like over 5 or so years now. This is old news.

hard tops are much better for durability and rigidity but cargo space suffers.

soft tops suck because:
- horrible sound deadening
- less viability
- take up space awkwardly (interior and storage)
- ugly
- break more often and wear

and there are probably more reasons.

you get best of both worlds with a hard-top convertible!
