With GPS system , this can be done even to the extent of how fast you are travelling and based on your driving habit and the

How about one insurance for 2 cars!? You can never drive the two (or 3 or more!) at the same time, so its the same basic risk! Just insure the driver, and let him have as many cars as he wants...i dont see the point of paying for 3-4 cars that you get to drive once a month.

Thats defly the BEST insurance to have but alas we are just pawns to kings!

to do that would require logic, unfortunately squeezing people out of every penny take precedence.

You can always move to California. Every car that you get after your second one does not require any insurance.

There been a scam going on for the last 5 years but been going ballistic the last 10 months.I driver goes and gets insurance no matter what the rates are (usually a bad history),he pays first and last then cancels on the third month but still has legit slip.He has the slip BUT no insurance and usually they do it when they need to renew the plate sticker so the sticker reads active when the cops runs the plates but the cops has no information if the driver is still insured.Once my dad got hit at the back..idiot tried to say my dad reverse and hit him,well there was like 5 witnesses who saw otherwise.My dad told him he will head to the collision center in about 4 hours since the damage wasnt that great but decided to go directly instead,well when he got there the other driver was crying someone hit him and took off to the officer,my dad tap him in the back and his face turned bright red.The officer knew what happened and took my dads information and the other driver basically got a meeting with the supervisor there.Its a criminal offense to falsely report a accident.

That would be my firts guess, BUT if you think about it, the insurance industry would make even MORE $$$ that way!!! If more people had 2 or more cars, more people would get full insurance (+fire/theft etc) to protect them (also needed for leased cars)...So you would have more people paying for extra insurance, but the risk or accidents is the came as you can not crash 2 of your cars at the same time!

I had some dude come up to me in a parking lot when I was parking the Skyline. He offered me a slip for $400 that was guaranteed to pass for 1 yr but I told him forget it.

You'd have to be an idiot to roll with that...all cool until you take out a family and get sued personally for everything you own now and in the future.
