Have any of you heard of OTA (Over The Air) Antennas?
I just bought one and now I'm picking up 14 channels in HD absolutely FREE.
All I did was point the antenna towards the CN tower and I'm picking up all the local channels. If I turn it towards Buffulo I can get some American channels.
Its a great alternative if you don't want to pay for cable.

I'd love a reliable alternative to Rogers HD/digital cable. I hate giving 'robbers' money! The problem is I need two HD boxes and 3-4 other digital boxes/ feeds In my home.

LOL @ "need". You're right I am in the same boat. Bell is an even bigger thief than Rogers. If you do want to pay a subscription fee have you looked into Star Choice?

I use to sell all their services, (bell, Rogers, and star choice) a long long time ago and they're all equally bad. Rogers just offered me the greatest discount ( $240/ month of services for $62 taxes in) but that recently expired after 8 years of reaping the corporate benefits! Lmao

That blows. Can't you BS your way into that deal again or at least somewhat close? My gf's brother quit Rogers 4 years ago and he's still able to get deals for his 2 siblings.

I could but too much work... I don't have the time now running two businesses.

It actually pays off to be a normal customer threatening to run to the competition if they don't hand out discounts. 40% off monthly bill and all 5 boxes free for two years is the best they could offer me as a normal customer. Only comes out to a bit more than what I was paying before so I guess I can't complain too much.

But it would be nice to eliminate the monthly cable bill entirely and get better programming with FTA sat!
