M3 Coilovers
Anyone using coil overs on their M3? If so what are you using? I'm looking into buying either the PSS9's or the KW V2's. I'd like to stay away from Ground Control and I heard that H&R's are just too stiff. I really want the PSS9's but I read that they aren't a straight bolt on, and you need to do some modifications. Is this true and does anyone know of the KW's need to be modified?
Thanks,
Steve

PSS9's dont really need modification of any kind you just need to buy extra parts. The problem is the front sway bar that on the m3 goes to the shock itself and the other e36's bolt to the control arm. You just need to buy the stock non m3 end links and hook them up. I think bilstein makes a kit if im not mistaken

I think I'm gonna go with the KW V2 or V3's. My buddy has the v2's on his corrado and they are amazing.

Anyone hear anything or actually have the DDM coilovers? I'm thinking about getting the setup for my car but need some feedback on it.

Just read a little deeper on bfc. There have been quite a few problems with them. You get what you pay for. And DDM doesn't have the greatest history with quality.

DDM coils are made in Taiwan, enough said.
Also the Bilstein PSS9s have the bracket on the strut for the M3 sway bar links. You don't need any extra parts or have to modify anything. Also, MADE IN GERMANY.
From Turner's site: "This kit is made specifically for the 95-99 E36 M3, the front struts are fitted with a bracket for the factory sway bar mount!"

Just make sure you get the M3 application. There's also a PSS9 for non-M E36s that doesn't have the bracket. Most websites show the same pictures for both so it can be deceiving.

I have PSS9s on my M3.
It's good for street application but if you track, go with the KW v3.
