m3 exhaust with dinan m5 filter

I just slapped on the m3 muffler which seems to do quite a bit for the car it just acts way more responsive like you can actually feel the difference as if my old muffler was clogged up or something but this is the shit!!! (thanks to TMP in orangeville).

Now I have an m5 Dinan filter that I'm gonna slap on to some pipe and maybe make a ghetto heatshield and leave the stock scoop from the grille to the airbox. what kind of pipe would i use and how do i adapt the bigger diameter filter?

Also do you think this would do anything performance or sound wise coming from the exhaust I read some random crap about more air going in so more coming out of the exhaust which could make it even a little louder, does this make sense?

hey bogdan, did u bolt on the muffler fully? and an intake will probably overpower the sound of your exhaust which is what i prefer anyways. also the intake is what will give you a slight gain in performance not much tho

yeah i took it to mufflerman and the guy there was real sick he didnt want to charge me anything to get the bolt out with the real torch and then he said well 20 bux if you want us to **** around with this and put it on. and then i said ok cuz i was so sick of doing it in the garage and at the end he didnt even charge me he said its all good so i was happy.
