Alignment shop

I know I am going to be told to use the site search to find previous threads about alignment shops but I did that already and really came up with nothing. There are alot of different threads about them, but not many shops mentioned.

I've seen that Woodbridge alignment is there, but so far it seens like there are mixed reviews. I also came across a link to IAC which seems pretty classy so far. I havent had a chance to call either one, but I was wondering if anyone knows of any other places, preferably in the Mississauga area and they use the 3D technology to do it.

Thanks

Well, for anyone looking to get their alignment done anytime soon I would recommend IAC (www.iactech.com). I brought my car there this morning and their 3d mapping system for the alignment is really good. They did my alignment and also gave my car a once over and told me what it is I need done. They did a great job and its a really nice place they have there too!

They charged me $99 plus tax for it all. It came out to $111 or something around there. Highly recommended shop!

I don't know the exact time for everything because there were a few complications with my car, but I got there at about 9:20 and was out by around 11-11:15. They were really fast, but I did call the day before and make an appointment so they were expecting me.

There is a place on the south side of speers rd. in oakville about 200 yards west of bronte rd. that is advertising an alignment special of 49.99 right now. I've heard a couple good things about the shop.

My front tie rods are rusted up and have seized so they werent able to align the front end perfectly. It was in good shape to begin with so it's no biggie, I really just went to get the rear aligned well.

Try KalTire in Concord. Make sure Randy does the work!! They use the 3-D imaging system there, and Randy has been the only guy I'll let do my alignment on my last 4 cars. Price is right too. $99 for all 4.

Did they load the car to BMW spec before doing the alignment?

For the E39s BMW requires 150lbs in each front seat, 150lbs in the middle of the rear seat, 50lbs in the trunk and a full tank of gas.

My guess is that most/all shops don't do this...

No, they didn't set up any kind of weight. Thats really just up to you I guess. I doubt you will find anyone, anywhere that would go to lengths like that.
