Vitaly, I know what you are trying to get at with these pictures, some of these pics have potential, but some pictures lack positioning and "subject-ism". Although I am not one talk since I am not exactly good at these either, I really suggest taking a photography class. You will see how much your pictures will improve.

yeah yeah i agree, not much of subject-ism. I just took pics of whatever.. I already got grilled about it by terry at the meet haha..If you gave me a set with a subject, lights, etc, sure I'll come up with a good composition but on the go i wasn't hoping on that.
And I did take photography classes, back in high school! didn't do much but made me remember what ISO and aperture were.
I can't compare with http://wvs.topleftpixel.com but at least it's something

i dunno if i'm a bit off in saying this but by the looks of your pictures your depicting toronto as very ghetto by the area's that you photographed. you should do a photo tutorial on some of the nicer stuff like cn tower bmo (i saw you had the art gallery. gorgeous building) you should go more into the core as opposed to staying in the younge dundas/china town area. much more architecture further in. my better photos to be had

No, Vitaliy hates Toronto.... so he's trying to photograph it as a desperate, falling apart, run down hole... or something.
Haha... "oh look, a sign!" *snap*, "oh look, a sidewalk!" *snap*, "oh look, another sign!" *snap*
