a strut/shock question for the M3

hey all,

i've tried to find the different E36 M3 struts/shocks offered for the car. I know that some came with bilstiens and some came without. does anyone know the difference between the different strut/shocks for the M3? I know that bilstiens are the ones to get.. but just would like to know how much better they are compared to the other stock M3 struts/shocks.

All E36 M3s came with Boge/Sachs shocks from the factory. Bilsteins are, however, a popular upgrade for old worn shocks and struts, and for people who want a stiffer ride with or without lowering springs.
