Need help: Arquay CF lip fitment onto m-tech 2 bumper...

hey guys so I bought a arquay front CF lip for my m-tech 2 kit, the mtech is oem and the arquay lip is replica so the fitment is slightly off and wont fit properly, I Called the company and they said all the lips are the same as its one mould they make it from so even if he sent me a new lip it would be the same problem, Im not sure if they make the replica lip moulds from replica bumpers or from oem and neither did the guy who sold it to me, Anyways im just wondering if anyone else has had this issue and if so what did you do about it? my body shop said the only thing they can really do is cut into the bumper behind the lip so you dont see it and custom fit it, its only about half a inch short on the one side so im sure they can shave a bit down in the middle somewhere to make it fit... If anyone has any other suggestions please let me know!
