window tinting

I'm thinking about tinting my windows myself this spring.
Do you have any suggestion about the paper I should use?

I don't want the tinting to go blue after 2 or 3 years...

If you stick with a name brand odds are you'll be ok. Most guys seem to like Llumar, Huper Optik, Solargaurd, etc... Most reputable shops will have a lifetime warranty against fading/discoloration/peeling/bubbles. I am sure there are shop recommendations on here somewhere. Popular places seem to be Markham Tint, FX Auto, Tint Master...

My suggestion.. the savings aint worth the hassle. I like a DIY any day. But I leave tinting to the professionals. Specially the back window.. man that's a gong show to put on.

Yeah...Id agree with that. The rear windows are always a pain. My suggestion - go to one of the tinters. Shouldnt cost you more than 2-225 and you get the lifetime guarantee on top.
