Importing E46 M3 to Canada from Europe Question...

Heya guys,

Quick question; since I keep reading different versions on the internet, and how 'euro' cars are banned (unless 15 yrs or older)

I'm going to be heading over to Poland again this Wednesday, but for a good year or two! and i will be purchasing an M3.. although this isn't a 'euro' M3, it was imported from the United States, therefore;

Would I have a problem bringing over a US car (e46 M3) back home to Canada, from Poland considering the fact? when I want to return back home.

Thanks in advance!

I doubt it, but you better give RIV a call.

Just wondering why do you want to import a car from Europe to Canada?

No way this is allowed.

UNLESS somehow the car went from NA to EU and now you want to bring it back to NA. If it still has NA papers, it can probably be brought back as a NA car (but don't take my word for it!). I know I was asking about bringing a 10-yr car and called every one that could stop me and all of them said that there is no way it is allowed.

With cars being more expensive there ... why would you want to do that? Unless of course, you've got 'connections' and the car will cost a 1/4 of the price ...
