CD player working again

After hearing it would cost thousands of dollars to get the cd player to work in my e39, I said screw it! I pulled every piece of audio equipment out of my trunk, and discovered a disconnected dsp wire. I connected it and all is good. How does a dsp wire get disconnected back their? A babies hand couldn’t fit back their?? I almost scrapped the stock system to have the entire car rewired. Anyways my point is, I don't really know what my point is..
