100% Legal German Plates... I envy. (pic!)
Today I went over to my friends house... In the driveway next to her house was a black 318i. Nothing special right? Wrong! The car was on German license plates. I was so impressed with how awesome the plates looked that I actually asked the guy who was there about it.
Turns out, the car was imported from Germany on a temporary work visa.
I hate Ontario license plates. I wish we had the european sleek look. The plates in Europe are so much nicer, they come with an awesome looking European Union flag and country accronyms...
That's my rant for the day. Here's the picture.

I've seen that car before, it's actually a 316i
http://maxbimmer.com/forums/showthre...highlight=316i
Looks like it's been here for a while now.
P.S. There is nothing amazing about european plates. You are just used to NA-spec plates, that's it.
In most European countries you can actually get a NA-spec size plate for your car. I have it on one of my cars there

i lived in europe for 11 years and i visit often. i like their plates over NA plates. Other then the wide plate, you can get a square plate (i hate the square plates). they're as wide as NA plates but way taller and they look really bad... lol
i guess the work permit wasn't so temporary.
