Exactly. I was thinking to get just to have on the shelf in my garage infront of where I park the car.

No, they just drive American cars that are plated in the US/ Canada. I've seen many Ontario plated cars back in Poland including dealer plates on a 350Z in Wroclaw. I've seen Mass. plates on a Cayenne in Monte Carlo and many many others. Haven't seen any 'double' plated cars. They have much stricter rules there.

it is hard to find a insurence company what covers your car over there,
I will take my car back to germany and thought i can drive over there with my ontario plate and leave my insurence with statefarm for the first 3 month or so till i have things setteld. They would not doit same as any other north american insurence company and i called around for more then 2 days, only if you are in the army or work for the goverment it works but no luck for privat ppl. like all of us

I emailed them... this is what they said; (all in USD, obv...)

Hello, the price outside of eBay is cheaper of course, then they are $ 21 each (up to 5 plates with frames). Postage is charged at cost, international mail rate goes by weight, for 2 plates it costs $21 and for 3-5 plates is costs $29 (by air and tracking + insurance included). If you have any other questions, just let me know. Thanks, Manon.

^ Cool thanks Stephanie, I emailed them also, and they had replied asking me to give them an idea of how many, I responded and am just waiting to hear back now.
