Replacing Wheel Hub Assembly

So, i'm going to tackle this on the weekend, and am wondering if anyone has any pointers.

I've read a few articles on how to do this w/out the special tool, but if anyone has done this before and can offer some advice, i'm all ears.

rear or front?

For the front its really easy if you have a new one, just remove your brakes and what not, unlock the nut (use a punch and bend it out, get a new one to replace if you want to do it right) then use a hammer, and pound out the hub as evenly as possible. Now usually the inside race stays on the hub, us a hammer and lighty tap it off, should come off fairly easy.

The rear I can't remember off hand as I haven't looked at it in a while.
