LOL.... just call it a matter of preference.

I'm not gangster like some people think they are, it's just not my style. I would never in my life want to own something that low, it would be more trouble than it's worth. And I'm just not a fan of the style... I'd get more excited seeing a car that looks like it could perform, looks like it would be fun to drive... that thing looks like a headache.

AWWWWWW yyeeeaaaaAAHHHHHH!! Bling blingin' yo, tha shit is off the hook yo!!!
....*cough cough*... sorry, don't know what the hell that was. Felt like my brain fell out for a second there.

+1 for eurostyle. That car isn't now or ever will be considered rice in any way shape or form. The car's even flat black how much more Anti-rice can you get?

I was mainly referring to the rims and the ridiculous body kit. To me it looks Japanese, which is fine if it was a Nissan or something. I guess rice means different things to different people - to you it seems to mean tacky or tasteless; to me it refers to the Japanese style of tuning, which I just don't think belongs on a car like that. It's ugly as sin.

Just cause it's German doesn't automatically make it good. Look at all the ugly shit AC Schnitzer is putting out these days. Then you have shit like Rieger and Zender - also German and they put out some of the ugliest Franken-Bimmer shit anyone's ever seen. I used to have a Rieger front bumper on my E30 and I now ask myself "what was I thinking?"

I think people are taking offense to the rice comment like it's some sort of personal thing if they happen to like that M5. I just have an idea of what I think is appropriate and tasteful on a BMW and that's not it. Just an opinion, didn't mean to offend anyone who's into it.

You were referring to it being Japanese, I just pointed out that its uber Deutsch, and yea, today's German is like the American ricers 8yrs ago.

Lumma design is actually pretty cool with certain kits, for the M5s they got the CLR series, the regular CLR is actually nice:

This is what the black one is, the CLR500 RS, it looks a lot better in other colours, there was one in red and it looks great, I do agree the wheels are bit weird.

^^ I will agree that the regular (silver) one looks ok but I can't stand that over-the-top looking stuff....like the rear diffuser on the yellow one....that's too much for me. It looks like the car is having an identity crisis. On a positive note though, I don't mind the wheels on the silver one - kinda reminds me of the style 19 wheels from the E39. Call me boring but I think the appeal of a Bimmer is the whole 'understated good looks' thing...it shouldn't have to scream for attention
