I love it, dont listen to anybody else. The folds look pretty cool too

Get the front splitter that will stick out on the sides to match the folds in the back.

Those tires need to be stretched on this car,

yep, its a full undertray diffuser. I was shocked at how far under the car it actually goes. It's one foot 'deep' at its narrowest point, and over two feet at the part where it actually comes up inbetween the exhausts. Anyway, the Z is zero-lift out of the box, but style-wise, I find diffusers to be the new spoilers.

Here's a closer look at the nice detailing of the vortex generators.

I think you're asking the wrong forum that being said, I personally love it. But then again im a huge fan of RE-Amemiya etc.

It seems like most bmw owners (myself included) are very conservative when it comes to exterior mods.

By the way, is there any proof that those things are functional?

well, I don't have the video of top secret wind tunneling it, but I'm sure that they did. Probably used CFD, too

It can provide only as much downforce as those 3 tiny screws can handle, which is not saying much or is it there for aerodynamics?

I like it.
I think if you add some more carbon fibre parts and keep it all functional this car would look cool.
Personally i would remove all badges and aerials , get a carbon spoiler(similar to the oem and not some " I believe i can fly" ricer type) , some carbon mirrors and a carbon front spoiler.

It can only provide as much downforce as that bend in the carbon fibre can support. A 1/4" bolt can support 200 lbs of shear force safely (guesstimating) and there's 3 screws there that are at least a 1/4" (~6mm) thread.

I won't be hitting any serious speeds....I just want to look like I potentially hit serious speeds. I'm a poseur.
