So how picky are hotels with the occupancy thing?

I'm heading to the casino tomorrow, and thought about grabbing a hotel...

There's 5 of us, and there are some nice rooms for like 125. The thing is, they're hugee rooms with 2 beds and shit, that can fit like 7 people or so they say. Anyways, I selected that I have 5 people from the beginning, and they says $125, but then BAM they get you with the $25 per person (for anymore than 2 people) which brings the total to 200 which isn't really as appealing..

So... do they actually pay attention / enforce this? I mean you can have people coming and going out of your room, maybe some people are just there to party and then leave. How will they really know who slept there and stuff? Surely they can't remember you all, and the next morning a few of us can hit the casino for another hour while the others clean up and check out. Just tell them you only have two guests staying..

Or shit what about when people get hotels downtown for clubbing for their birthday and shit cause they live far, and then at the end of the night a couple extra friends crash in the room, do they actually notice/care/charge them for the extra people that slept there ?

Bad idea?

Our room slept 6 and we had 10 in there Sunday night while we were up at Blue Mountain. 2 years ago we rented a room at the Sheraton Hotel downtown. It sleeps 4 we had 12 people in there overnight (don't ask) and multiple key cards cause we kept losing them. They got suspicious so we told em were chilling and by morning the extra's left before checkout/room service came by and we were okay. As long as you behave, don't cause drama and check out at the time or before the time you're suppose to. You'll be fine. But whatever you do, DO NOT exit from the main lobby - if it's impossible just tell the extras to leave from the staircase exits and meet you at the car.

yeah, you can almost always get lots of people in.

p.s. where are you guys staying? Use priceline.com, name your own price. Start bidding from 50-60% off retail.

I stayed at the intercontinental yorkville last weekend for under 90$ us a night.

btw i have some OG kush for you, text me in the afternoon/

Just don't be redic about sneaking people in. Have two of the same people deal with customer service. We normally squeeze a lot of people and bikes in rooms on road trips.

+1 on priceline.com, I got my hotel for the valentine's long weekend for my g/f & I from priceline last week, stayed at the Sheraton downtown Montreal for $90cdn a night, instead of the normal $145cdn.

Thanks guys, booked it for 2 people then via priceline.com at the Hilton. It was $87 US for a room with 2 queen beds, came to like 130 with tax and exchange to CDN$ which is good.

It's $20 for parking though, and the Fallsview Casino has free parking right? I kinda wanna just park there as it's all connected, but I'm slightly worried that they'll tow it as I'll be there from 4 P.M. today until like noon tomorrow. But then again, I could just be gambling all night or maybe I got a room at Fallsview (they don't give you a special parking pass as far as I know you just leave your car there..). You guys think it will be okay?

fallsview parking is fine for more than overnight... don't ask me why... also, if you get a players card parking is free. and if you play for more than 5 hours or so you can usually scare a free meal out of it. check out noodle bar. damn tasty! As for hotels, if you're gambling, why not have a comfortable stay too... another room is basically only a couple hands of blackjack...
