OBDC I & OBDC II conversion questions
If one were to convert an OBDC II engine to OBDC I using one of the kits available, I was wondering what happens to stuff like the secondary air pump, which is an OBDC II emissions control component? I'm pretty sue the OBDC I 325s for example did not have a secondary air pump.. So, if you convert to OBDC I, can you remove/disable the secondary air pump entirely then? Are there other components we might consider removing that are not already dealt with by the contents of the OBDC I conversion kit?
