DDM M3 Sideskirts

So I'm looking into getting some twisties.

But so far researching on bf.c, most people are saying they are too long and the adhesive for the weather stripping is crap.

I was just wondering if anyone has ordered these lately and what the deal is with them in case they've fixed the fitment issues.

You sell those for $240 right? Maybe I'll get some when I come to get that door.

I have the DDMs. They are slightly longer because they are made to accomidate the rubber fender mouldings of the later e36 models. I m pretty satisfied.

doogee, I have a customer and he's pretty active on this site and he can support my comment in saying that if you have a problem it'll take forever to resolve...
Especially if your missing a few mounting clips or accidentally broke them and seeking replacements.

And fitment is okay.

Thanks,
Steven

Ya that's why im doing my research because I know first hand that dealing with DDM can be next to impossible. I think I'll get my hands on some OEM ones to be safe.

Oh god, do not under any circumstances buy those ever.

even if you do buy them, test fit them before doing anything, realize they are too long and return it, it will still be a pain in the ass for you.

It's a complete 2cm longer. With the jack holes lined up, I could fit my thumb into the gap. Some people claim that their car has thicker weather stripping, but I don't see how you can hide 2cm with stripping unless you have a dark colour car. With a light car, it'd still stick out.

Just go to Eurostyle, get his fiberglass kit. They fit so perfect they stayed on the car without clamps/glue/hands when test fitting. They will also flex like crazy without shattering- before I bought them, fil twisted the skirt a complete 180 to demonstrate, and it immediately spring back straight.

You can see here how hideously long the DDM's are

Nothing from DDM is good. They have good customer service, and are very cheap, but so is the product. Complaining about them is like saying that a swanson hungry man dinner doesn't taste like a NY striploin. You get what you pay for.

I'm slowly learning this.

1st: Leaky tail light
2nd: Shitty "Xenon" Bulbs turned yellow after 4 months
3rd: Got a faulty HID bulb. Had to pay $30 for them to "warranty" plus ship the bulb back
4th: Headlight adjusters stripped first day

Only thing i've been decently happy with is the side mouldings, angel eyes....and that's about it now that I think one of the ballasts they gave me is fubared.
