Website

Is there anyone local that can help me get a web site up. I have registered the domain name with WebServe, and they are a bunch of FU#KIN IDIOTS!!! I have no idea what I am doing so I need a lot of help. I have the web site up on my Sympatico web space, but when people enter my domain name, I want it to point to the web site on Sympatico. How do I do this?

Check with webserve if they have Domain or URL forwarding, that's all you want.

2 ways you can do this. in your WebServe you can setup a redirect to your sympatico address.

or you can open a text file, in it put the following code:
HTML Code:
<html>
<head>
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1">
<META HTTP-EQUIV=REFRESH CONTENT="0; URL=http://www.yoururl.com">
</head>
</html>
then save it as index.html and upload it to your ftp
