e46 Projector conversion

Hey team,
I currently have a pair a of Depot Projector headlights installed. The sphere projector bulbs look "nice" but they're really nothing without that HID brightness for nighttime driving.

Does anyone know if it is possible for me to convert these depot lights so that they will take an HID bulb? How do I do this?

I also have a new set of after market red/white taillights, if anyone wants to buy... or trade for stock red/orange lights. (prefacelift E46 sedan).

I'm guessing you currently plug halogen light bulbs into the projector housing. If so, you can get just about any HID conversion kit that will have their own individual ballasts to power the HID bulbs which can be bought rebased to fit your housing (ie. H7, H3, 9006 type bulbs). Pretty easy to do.

Those kits now are pretty cheap too ~ 50US a kit.

Sweet! I suspected as much... I'll see if I can get my hands on a kit. Do you know of any local retailers? I don't need service, I'd like to install the kit myself.

Contact Ivan (user propr'one), he sell's quality HID kits and is a great guy to deal with.
